I was just in Europe for 2 weeks. I noticed something: the bottlecaps are different.
In America, if you screw off a bottlecap, it breaks totally off. Like this:
But in Europe (the UK and Sweden, specifically, since that’s where I was travelling) the bottlecaps seem to routinely remain attached by two strands of plastic. Like this:
The first time I thought it was chance. But it happened every time I got a bottle of anything.
This seems to be by design.
It’s better this way. You don’t lose the bottlecap.
Can someone get in touch with the EU and see if I’m right? Thanks in advance.
I also want to write something unrelated to travel. And it’s about being a centrist fuck in a world filled with hot takes. A moderate. A reasonable person who loves pragmatic solutions. But everything is run by clickbait. Trump is a clickbait master. Only the hot takes prevail. But I’m a moderate quiet man who wants things to just work. More on that later.
For today, just think about the bottlecaps.
